Definition: A.D. is a Latin abbreviation for Anno Domini, in the year of our Lord. A.D. is used with dates in the current era. The counterpart to Anno Domini is B.C. for "Before Christ." Because of A.D.'s obvious Christian overtones, many prefer to use more secular abbreviations like C.E. for "Common Era." However both are correct and the still use of A.D., although Latin in origin, is conventional in English writing A.D. proceding the year (A.D. 2013)

It has been fortold.........the End of the Mayan Great Cycle of evolution
will culminate Winter Solstice, December 21, A.D. 2012.
We are living today in the Mayan end times, However Following the Mayan concepts of cyclic time and World Age transitions, this is as much about beginnings as endings. In fact, it was considered by the ancient Maya to signify the Creation of a new World Age.

This time we are now in has also been called "The Time of Trial on Earth", "Judgement Day",
"The Time of Great Purification", "The End of this Creation", "The Quickening",
"The End of Time as We Know It", "The Shift of the Ages".

It is has been foretold that the completion of the Precession brings regeneration of Earth, offering awakening to all open, willing hearts. Many peoples spoke of these last days of the Great Cycle, including the: Maya, Hopi, Egyptians, Kabbalists,Christians, Essenes, Qero elders of Peru, Navajo, Cherokee, Apache, Iroquois confederacy, Dogon Tribe, and Aborigines.

Despite the potential possibility for things to be destroyed in a way we may not seem to want, our conceptual mind also knows and can recognize the same potential or reality of those things being destroyed being shifted or reborn into somehting greater. One thing is know for sure, that the time and date of December 21, 2012 will come and go and will pass away into our next moment of expierance wether we are standing, lying down or flying in the ethers. And what the profecy suggests is that our concept of time will change from what we once understood of it. It seems like a simple understanding that allways has been, but to truelly understand perhaps it will take a monumental date of looming conciouse shift for us to finally bring honor into the sacredness of our expierance of time past, and move into the long hoped for future moment of freedom from our dark past. Many saints sages and gurus and most simply Jesus have lived this truth to its fullest in order for us to let go of the sin or negative karma we have been holding on to and accept the free gift of Salvation wich brings us into living an existence were we are no longer physically, emotionally or conciously attached to our past but truelly present in each new moment. 2013 could be this new year of time and thats why I believe it is called the "Year of Harmonic Ressonance".

This is a call of our awarness to the alerting of the present-day of which
humanity biologicaly process and transform. Shedding our old skin, old thoughts, and old ways is the gift that we understand as we approach the culmination of a 26,000 year evolutionary program.
Bringing the return of universal and cosmic telepathy, heightened sense and capacity for love,
self-reflective consciousness, and complete acceptance of compassion and grace may be the result and thus a return to the sacred domain of our inner technology.

As avid stargazers, the ancient Maya were keen to an astrological cycle we call the Precession of the Equinoxes. This is close to a 26,000 year cycle in which Earth transits through each of the 12 signs of the zodiac for about 2152 years each.
Each of these astrological ages represents one month of the grand, Cosmic Year. Sumerians, Tibetans, Egyptians, Cherokees, Hopi, and Mayans refer to this same 26,000 year cycle in their mystical belief systems and each have developed calendars based on this great cycle.
The Maya messengers, reknowned for their architectural, artistic, mathematical and scientific achievements, left a calling card as a series of super-human sized stone monuments and pyramids with precise calendrical computations. Planted with great intention, these dates were left to ensure that future generations would be alerted to the coming end point of this great 26,000 year cycle.
A cycle which corresponds also to a 26,000 year relationship of our Sun orbiting Alcyone,
the central star of the 7 Sisters Pleiades constellation. According to the Maya, the "future"
which lies beyond this end date is literally "a new world age" - "a new creation.
"The sources of Mayan mythology are found in the sky, and the timetable of Creation Day is pinpointed by the end date of the Mayan Great Cycle.

What occurs is an alignment between the galactic and solar planes. Specifically, the winter solstice sun will conjunct the Milky Way, which is the edge of our spinning spiral galaxy . The place where the sun meets the Milky Way is where the "dark-rift" in the Milky Way is - a black ridge along the Milky Way caused by interstellar dust clouds This is a feature of the Milky Way anyone can see on a clear midsummer's night. At dawn on the winter solstice of A.D. 2012, the sun will be right in this dark-rift, and the orientation is such that the Milky Way rims the horizon at all points around. Thus, the Milky Way "sits" on the earth, touching it at all points around, opening up the cosmic sky portal. The galactic and solar planes are thus aligned. "Sky portal" is just a term to describe the "opened sky" scenario apparent when the Milky Way rims the horizon.

The 26,000 year cycle of the Homo Sapien's evolution and development is mirrored by the 260-day cycle of human gestation. Collective humanity is right now maturing into the being what we have long been encoded to be. As with any labor, it is not the mother, or the baby, who is in charge - it is the primal process of Birth itself unfolding its own destiny.

Thus the December 21, 2012 AD is not the day where all of the sudden a light switch will flip on and everything will change, rather, we are NOW in the process of this transition from one World Age to the next. The changes are underway and will continue steadily accelerating as we head towards the culminating date!
